Wood inside, a weatherproof aluminium shell outside: the warm side facing the room, the low-maintenance side facing the weather. A good choice wherever the façade takes a beating.
Window replacement in old buildings
We remove old windows gently and fit new ones precisely into the existing structure — with minimal impact on reveals and plaster. Usually room by room, so your home stays liveable.
Sealing & insulation
We seal junction gaps to current standards: airtight inside, driving-rain-proof outside, insulated in between. Warmth stays in the room — draughts and moisture stay out.
Interior window sills
Interior sills in solid wood, made to measure in our workshop and oiled or lacquered to match floor and furniture. The finishing touch that turns a window into part of the interior.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a window replacement take?
The installation itself is usually quicker than expected — the schedule is driven mainly by the windows' delivery time. After measuring, we'll tell you reliably when we start and how long we'll be with you.
Can this be done while we live in the house?
Yes, that's the normal case. We work room by room, cover floors and furniture and close every opening the same day — by evening, your home is weathertight and broom-clean again.
Will painters or plasterers be needed afterwards?
We work as gently as possible, but small touch-ups to the reveal can rarely be avoided entirely when replacing in existing buildings. We'll see what to expect during measuring — and discuss it openly beforehand.
Timber or timber-aluminium — which window suits us?
That mainly depends on the weather side: on sheltered façades a pure timber window shows its warmth to full effect, while with full exposure the aluminium shell takes care of the maintenance outside. We look at the situation and advise honestly.
What happens to the old windows?
We take them with us: removal, transport and proper disposal are part of the window replacement for us — with disposal documentation for your records on request.
