A staircase is used every day, so material and precise fit matter. We make stair treads and platforms to measure in solid wood: cut to suit your staircase, with clean edges and a finish that stands up to everyday life. Whether new treads, a new covering for old concrete steps or a platform for a seating nook or bed: we measure up, make the parts in our workshop in Nittendorf and install them at your home on request.

From the first conversation to handover

Consultation & measurements
We look at the staircase or room, measure every step individually and discuss wood species, edge and finish with you.

Production in the workshop
The treads and platforms are made in our workshop in Nittendorf: cut to size, sanded and fully oiled or lacquered.

Installation & handover
We install the treads neatly at your home and make sure each one sits firmly. If you prefer, you can also collect the parts from the workshop yourself.

Can you clad old concrete steps with wood?
Yes. We measure each step individually, make matching solid wood treads and fit them onto the existing staircase. That gives the staircase a completely new look without it having to be torn out.
Which wood is suitable for stair treads?
Hardwoods such as oak, beech or ash are a proven choice, because they withstand a lot. Walnut looks particularly refined. We're happy to advise you on what suits your use and interior.
Do you just supply the treads, or install them too?
Both are possible. Many customers have the treads fully installed, but you can also collect them from the workshop and fit them yourself.
Do you also build platforms with storage?
Gladly. A platform for a bed or seating nook combines well with drawers or flaps, so the space underneath is put to good use.
How long does production take?
That depends on the number, wood species and finish. We'll give you a firm date after measuring.
