Not every good piece of furniture is new. Some are inherited, long in use, or simply moving house with you — and deserve a workshop that understands how they were built. We assemble, repair and restore with the same care we bring to new work: by hand, with an eye for material and detail.
In detail
We assemble, repair and refurbish furniture — in our own workshop in Nittendorf and on site in and around Regensburg.
Furniture assembly
We assemble furniture properly and align it cleanly — from a single cabinet to a complete interior. Hardware is adjusted; doors and drawers run the way they should.
Surface refurbishment
We gently sand out signs of wear and rebuild the finish — oiled, waxed or lacquered, to suit the piece. Patina stays where it belongs to the character.
Restoring old furniture
We re-glue loose joints and replace missing parts to match wood species and colour. The piece stays what it is — just stable and usable again.
Repairs to existing furniture
Sticking drawers, worn hinges, damaged edges: much can be put right without replacing the piece. We assess the condition and tell you honestly what's worth doing.
Adapting to new rooms
After a move, the built-in wardrobe rarely fits straight away. We measure, shorten, extend and rework existing furniture so it sits in the new room as if made for it.

Assessment & consultation
You describe what you need — photos are a great start. We look at the piece, at your home or in the workshop, and discuss what's possible and sensible.
Work in the workshop
Restoration, finishes and conversions take shape in our workshop in Nittendorf. Smaller repairs and adjustments we handle on site wherever possible.
Installation & handover
We deliver, install and align everything precisely. Finally, we adjust the hardware, test every function and leave the room clean.

Is refurbishing an old piece of furniture worth it?
That depends on the substance, the condition and what the piece means to you. Solid, well-built furniture is usually a good candidate. We take a look and tell you openly whether the effort is in proportion.
How long does a restoration take?
That depends on condition and scope — a new finish is quicker than a restoration with missing parts. After the assessment we give you a realistic timeframe before we start.
Do you assemble furniture you didn't make?
Yes. We also assemble existing or store-bought furniture, adapt it to the room and adjust it cleanly — to the same standard as our own pieces.
Do you collect furniture for the workshop from my home?
Yes. We collect the piece from you, transport it safely to our workshop in Nittendorf and bring it back fully refurbished — in and around Regensburg for a fair travel charge.
Is there a warranty on repairs and refurbishment?
Yes, the statutory warranty applies to our work. Should a glued joint or a finish fail against expectation, we put it right — that goes without saying for us.
