Solid wood feels warm, insulates naturally and can be refurbished even after many years. Stained or painted — a front door that belongs to the house rather than merely standing in front of it.
Timber-aluminium
Timber inside, a weatherproof aluminium shell outside: the warm side towards the hallway, the low-maintenance side towards the weather. A good choice wherever the door takes the full brunt of sun, rain and wind.
Thermal insulation and airtightness
Insulated door leaves, several continuous sealing levels and a thermally broken threshold: the warmth stays in the house and draughts stay outside — noticeable on cold days, visible on the heating bill.
Security at the entrance
Multi-point locking, security hardware and, on request, certified burglary resistance to RC2 — matched to door, frame and installation situation. Security only works when all parts are professionally installed together.
Junction gaps and installation in existing buildings
We remove the old door carefully and seal the new one to the current state of the art: airtight inside, driving-rain-proof outside, insulated in between. The junction stays permanently tight — without moisture or thermal bridges.

Removal, installation and sealing are usually done in a single day. Finally, we fine-tune hinges and locking and hand over broom-clean — by the evening your house is tight and locked again.

How long does replacing a front door take?
Usually one working day: removal of the old door in the morning, then installation, sealing and fine adjustment. By the evening your house is tight and securely locked again — we discuss the exact schedule when measuring.
Timber or timber-aluminium — which suits us?
That mainly depends on the weather exposure at your entrance: under a canopy or in a sheltered spot, a pure timber door shows its warmth to full effect; with full exposure, the aluminium shell takes care of the maintenance outside. We look at the situation and advise honestly.
Does a new front door really improve thermal insulation?
Yes, especially in older buildings. Old doors are often uninsulated and leaky — a modern, insulated element with properly executed junction gaps noticeably reduces heat loss and draughts. You'll feel the difference in the hallway in the very first winter.
How secure is a timber front door?
Very secure, provided the complete element is right: multi-point locking, a solid frame, security hardware and professional installation. On request we install certified elements of resistance class RC2 — timber and security are not a contradiction.
How do I look after a timber front door?
It takes less effort than many think: clean it occasionally, check seals and hardware, and refresh the finish every few years depending on exposure. At handover we show you what matters for your particular door.
